Way ahead of the pack is Vaddio’s RoboSHOT 12.  A PTZ camera ( Pan-Tilt-Zoom) who’s engineering ensures an unrivaled experience.  Vaddio is a US-based manufacturer who specializes in making the highest quality PTZ cameras and audiovisual equipment. With the RoboSHOT 12, they have more than succeeded.

Robotshot 12Not Just Another PTZ Camera

The need for cost-effective, high definition cameras, that are easy to operate and maintain is more apparent than ever. The big brands, such as Cisco and Polycom require customers to subscribe to expensive contracts and maintenance programs. All that, and the quality, ease and efficiency of their solutions is unexceptional.

The RoboSHOT is the answer. It provides unmatched quality and a multitude of features at an affordable price point. What has made these cameras so remarkable is their ‘Tri-Synchronous Motion’ system. This system allows the camera to smoothly capture video by being able to pan, zoom and tilt simultaneously. Thus, it allows the RoboSHOT to function as close as possible to a human eye, resulting in a more natural feeling video.

But, this powerful piece of hardware is not defined by it’s ‘Tri-Synchronous Motion’ system. The RoboSHOT includes a plethora of additional features which are sure to entice any AV consumer.  It packs in a 12x optical zoom and a 73-degree field of view, allowing for the camera to cover larger areas. This allows for bigger meetings without the need for all the participants to cram into one frame.

RoboSHOT 12 is both Powerful and Easy to Use

There’s still more. When you combine the RoboSHOT with Vaddio’s extension system, you are given the freedom to position the camera up to 100 meters (325 ft) from your Polycom codec. This means your video position is not limited to near your hard codec. Making office design more practical and neater, and allowing for the ultimate freedom in deciding where to place your video source.

You may be thinking that such an advanced piece of technology is surely hard to control. You would be wrong, however. Vaddio has created a camera who’s ability match it’s ease of use. Users can control the camera’s pan, zoom and tilt features by simply connecting to Telnet, the cameras built-in web server. All you need is to connect your device to the cameras local network and you are good to go.

Additionally, RoboSHOT functions brilliantly with most soft codecs using the OneLINK Bridge extension system. This means that you can continue to use your favorite software, such as Skype, Zoom, Vidyo or Hangouts, Just with higher quality video.
